The Kids...

Well the kids are here.  Enough said...

No seriously I LOVE these kids...

They are so sweet.

They came with minimal toys thank goodness because christmas is going to be full of toys...
Right now Tori, Bobby and I are on the patio he is playing with a train my grandma brought over for him to play with, and Tori is playing with her magical invisible markers.  Quiet, relaxed, and calm.  Tommy is in his own room playing his DS, and he hasn't pulled any of his hair out once.  He is having a difficult time lately and has been diagnosed with tricholillomania, pulling out his hair and eyebrow and eye lashes.  But he has been relaxed and calm, he pulls a lot on his clothes and stretches them out, but in his defense they are about two sizes too big for him.  But his mother gets them larger so they have them for a while and they can grow into them.  I had to roll up sleeves, and pant legs.  They just look so messy with their clothes hanging off of them.  It bothers me, but what can I do...

So the best comment I have gotten so far...  Bobby asked me...  Is my daddy your daddy?  Tori injected... no our daddy is going to be Ragan's husband soon.  It made me smile.  Bobby also heard me use the privacy word a couple of times during the whole bathing process and when it came around to his turn in the bath tub he said...  Ragan may I please have some privacy, so I can take my clothes off, thank you!

Cute as can be!  Later we are going to the grand cypress to see the horses!!

Beginning

This is my very first personal blog on blogger.  I have another blog called Morningbells Cooking Blog that I have not updated in a while.  After Xmas I will have some fun recipes!

Any who, this blog is about my life and how I decide to live it.  Im a simple person with simple needs and I have simple pleasures that make me happy and hopefully those around me happy as well.

This month has been a very good month as far as happiness goes.  I am engaged to a wonderful man, his name is Tom.  And Tom has 3 beautiful children that I just adore.  They will be arriving Tuesday evening.  The Plan was to go to Tennessee to get them but their uncle is driving them down.

This month has been busy for us, in addition to all of the presents I have bought his kids, he and I(mostly him) have been redecorating our 3rd bedroom/florida room for his daughter and his youngest son to have their own bedroom.  Call me low class but I don't think 3 children the ages of 8, 6, 4 should be sharing a room with their mother, or all together.  So I have the space...  Why not utilize it.  We painted it, did the floors, hung pretty curtains up, set up a queen size bed and added some kids things like games, toys, baskets full of things they can play with...
So Tommy(8yrs) will have his own bedroom, Tori(6yrs) and Bobby(4yrs) will share a room together.

We plan on having a fancy Christmas dinner with all of the fixings and family present.  My grandparents will be here in addition to my Mother and my Sister.  We even invited the kids Grandfather from their mothers side just to show him how appreciative we are to him for babysitting them here in Orlando while we will be working.  Thats right I invited his ex's father to my home.  Potentially a dangerous situation but my intention is to kill them with kindness.  I want them to hate me because I am such a good person.  I have already pretty much achieved that.  If they are going to hate me I would rather them say stuff like her house is so clean it doesn't smell like she has five cats at all, I hate her!  LOL!  I would prefer they don't hate me at all, but no matter what I do, they will, so I will give them nothing negative to say about me at all.

The tree looks absolutely stunning!  And with all of the presents underneath it the whole living room looks so inviting!  Im finally excited about Christmas.  Mainly because I will be spending it with Tom and his kids.  This Christmas may also be the last one I get to spend with my grandfather.  I want to make it special for everyone in my home.  He may not remember it but, I will remember his face while he watches the family and people around him making him smile and laugh.  That will make me so happy.

Also this month Katie is visiting from Colorado.  Aubry and Austin are here with her and although we haven't had too much time with each other yet, we did manage to fit in memorial tattoos for her husband who passed in Afghanistan in September.  Courtesy of Katie, otherwise I would have just been there for moral support for her while she got hers.  It was a fun experience Im glad I got to be part of with her.  I don't see her too often, but I am so glad to spend time with her when I do.  I cannot be there for her everyday like I would like to be but I try to devote as much time as I can while we are in close proximity to each other.  She is such a strong person.  I am very proud of her.

Well my goal this week is to keep a clean organized house, fridge, kitchen, bedrooms, and so forth.  When Thursday arrives I have a Apple pie to make and bake, and some crab cakes Im going to pre-make, and last minute wraps, and decorations for the xmas dinner on friday!  I am very excited to finally be proud of how my house looks to have some real company.  The floors look wonderful, Thank you Tom!

Everyday I try to be a good person.  Some days I have not achieved it at all, some days I exceed the good person label...  Step by step I suppose.  My other half helps tremendously.  He is my rock.  I love him very much, I would be nowhere right now if it wasn't for the love and support he shows me everyday.  A lot of people especially men could learn so much from the way he treats me.
